The Rocket Scientists Program is one of the highest profile parts of our ongoing community outreach program. This is an initiative that is designed to reward Prince Edward Island elementary school children for their hard work, dedication and leadership.

The Rocket Scientists Performer Program provides some complimentary tickets to elementary schools on Prince Edward Island to use as rewards for their students. These could be provided for: excellence in academics; excellent work ethic; leadership qualities; or for whatever is deemed appropriate by the administration of the particular school.

We really wanted to use our position in the community to show the importance of education and the importance of being a good citizen. This is a great way for us to recognize some students throughout PEI and have them join us for a home game. Through our Rocket Launchers online panel, our fans have asked us to be more involved in the community and that has been our biggest commitment for the past season and a half. This program is just another extension of that. The Rocket are interested in growing the program further to allow even more school children to be recognized. We are looking or some additional support from our local corporate community to assist us in making the program even more successful. Our youth are a very important part of our community and we want to recognize them for their hard work and determination.
