Breast Cancer Awarness Game
October 14th, 2011
On October 14th, 2011 the Rocket hosted the Moncton Wildcats and wore specially designed pink jerseys in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Fans had the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets on these one-of-a-kind game-worn jerseys with proceeds going to the Run For The Cure in Charlottetown.
At the end of the game, the Rocket held a special on-ice ceremony where all game worn pink jerseys were given to some very lucky Rocket Fans. The game was in support of breast cancer awareness and research. All players lined up on the blue line at the end of the game and gave their jerseys to some very lucky fans whose tickets were drawn from all tickets sold. All jersey proceeds went to the CIBC Run For The Cure.
Thank you for your support!
