The Montreal Canadiens announced today that 5 QMJHL players will participate in the second of two development camp sessions, set to take place from June 28-30, at the Bell Sports Complex, in Brossard.

All on-ice sessions are open to the public.

The list of participating prospects includes all seven (7) players selected by the organization at the 2012 NHL Entry Draft presented on June 22-23 in Pittsburgh, including the club’s first round selection, Alex Galchenyuk. Defenseman Mac Bennett (2009 draft pick) and forward Daniel Pribyl (2011 draft pick) will also participate in the camp, as well as five (5) players invited as try outs.

The Canadiens prospects will first take to the ice for technical drills on Thursday, June 28, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The development camp session consists of two on-ice sessions and evaluations daily on both ice surfaces at the Bell Sports Complex. Off-ice conditioning sessions and seminars are also scheduled each day.
Players participating in the first session of the development camp will be available daily to the media, in the Canadiens main dressing room at the Bell Sports Complex.
